Sorry it's been a while since I've posted on here. I haven't been back on a steady work out rhythm since the hectic graduation week and post-graduation retreat. However, I have not been eating horribly either. I am hoping to get back to the gym tomorrow and will begin posting here again.
Are any of you still struggling forward with me? Would love to hear your stories.

I hate it when stuff piles on to you and causes you to lose focus. I know I am always willing to pitch, taking care of my self, out the window when I start running short of time. It seems so much faster to pull through that drive through window. I think it is just important to get back in the groove as soon as you can and don't be too hard on yourself when you have those weeks, where you just can't juggle it all.

So true, bro. It's a challenge to remain motivated when you feel defeated. Fortunately, I prepared myself with realistic expectations for the past 2 weeks and was able to maintain my weight and not go to berzerk. I'm hoping to get back into the gym today. On top of my hectic schedule, I also had a wicked sinus infection, which didn't help the situation either.
Thanks for sharing!

Man, I just saw this for the first time and wanted to throw in my two cents.
I have been dieting and exercising since January and have lost 49 pounds, so I am struggling right along with you. The last couple of weeks have been difficult for me for similar reasons. My work schedule changed and I had to travel to Mississippi for a funeral.
It's great when the weight loss becomes habit. That means you're on your way to making it a lifestyle. But then something happens to change your routine, and it's everything you can do to keep it together! But we're living proof that you CAN keep it together, right?
BTW, don't know if you remember me, but back in the day, I was in a band called Standing Still. You spoke at an event we played at in Seabrook - probably in 2002.
Jud,
Hey, man! I def remember you (and that event)! Congratulations on the changes you have made in your life!
It's so tough when our daily routines get messed with. Thank you for sharing and let me know how to continue to encourage you!
