Always use a towel.&lt;br /&gt;3. I train in a speedo that looks like cycling shorts without the shammy. Can tell a difference. I have known people who would put on regular shorts during a workout to add resistance for a few laps.&lt;br /&gt;4. I wear a cap and it makes a difference. 1. hasn't ever really been an issue....</title><content type='html'>Good for you!&lt;br /&gt;1. hasn&amp;#39;t ever really been an issue.&lt;br /&gt;2. always used the typical bath towel&lt;br /&gt;3. I train in regular shorts and race in triathlon shorts which are skin tight.  I can feel the difference on race day but it is not significant.&lt;br /&gt;4.  I don&amp;#39;t wear the cap... even in races.
